This section explains how to create grids and grid lines to help you better position your windows and

configure your layout.

9.1 Show or hide

This enables you to show or hide the output lines, grid, and custom grid lines on your canvas.

9.2 Snap to

When you create a layout, this feature enables your windows to snap to an object in your layout when

you move your windows.

9.3 Grid

This enables you to add vertical and horizontal lines to your grid.

Windows

This snaps the windows snap to one another.

Output lines

This snaps the window to the lines of the output.

Center of output

This snaps the window to the center of the output. The window

must be smaller than the output window.

Center of display wall

This snaps the window to the center of the display wall.

Grid

This snaps the window to the grid lines.

Custom grid lines

This snaps the window to the grid lines you specified. For more

information, see “Grid lines”, page 34.
